Tuition
All Hunter Academies courses are equivalent to a semester-length high school class but can be completed in an accelerated format.
Students must spend a minimum of four weeks in any college preparatory course. A student who registers at the beginning of a term will have at least sixteen weeks to complete the semester course.
The tuition rates are as follows. All rates are PER COURSE:

Teacher-to-student and student-to-student interaction occurs frequently in this format using almost exclusively asynchronous communication features such as email and discussion boards. Live, synchronous communication may be used at the teacher’s discretion

Application Fee | Each application is reviewed on an individual basis. Formal admission to Hunter Academies will be granted to those students who are able to benefit most strongly from a personalized education program. All new students will be charged a non-refundable application processing fee. | |
Registration Fee | All students are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee upon enrollment each year. A student is not deemed enrolled until the full registration fee has been received. | |
Annual Payment |
Full annual payment is due on or before the day of beginning class. | Full annual tuition payment is due before the start of school. Students are not considered enrolled until all fees have been paid and all documents have been completed and turned in. Tuition and fees are non-refundable. |
10-Month School Year payment plan | Tuition is split into 10 equal payments and are due and payable on the 1st of the month. Tuition is considered late if not paid by the 10th of the month at which time a late fee will be assessed. |

Refund Policy | Application and registration fees are non-refundable. The only exception is when an applicant is denied admission by the school. In this case, registration fee will be refunded.
Tuition shall not be refunded after 30 days. Any fees owed to the school will be deducted from the refund.
Parent must submit the withdrawal in writing with updated contact information. Please allow two weeks to process the refund. |

Past Due/ Unpaid Tuition | Accounts may not fall more than 30 days past due. In such cases, students are not considered enrolled. Parents will be notified of the delinquent account and students’ classes will be suspended and no transcript will be given. | |
Late Fee
A late fee of $35 per student per month will be assessed for tuition payments received after the 10th of any month. We accept payments in the form of credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express only). All balance inquiries or other account questions may be directed to Accounts Receivable. Monthly billing statements will not be sent out. It is the responsibility of each individual family to have their payment in the office by the due date.
Enhanced Learning Program
The English Learning Program (ELP) consists of a personalized learning track to meet the needs of English Learners. Students will be able to take online courses and engage in one-on-one conversational tutoring with a credentialed teacher or specialized instructor. Testing will be administered to students with potential English learning needs.
Miscellaneous Fees
Students may be responsible for other costs related to participation in certain activities (e.g. field trips, special activities or events) or the purchase of specific products or materials. The school only charges students at cost and makes no profit from these fees.
Financial Aid
Annually, the Hunter Academies Board sets aside funds for the purpose of assisting families whose personal resources cannot meet the full cost of an education at Hunter Academies.Applications are considered based on financial need, family support, and academic standing. It is the goal of Hunter Academies that no deserving child be excluded due to financial considerations.
